3/10/04 Northwestern Law Professional Education Program Introduces Multimedia Disks

Northwestern University School of Law’s Professional Education program has introduced Full Program Multimedia Disks following the 31st Annual Securities Regulation Institute, which took place Jan. 21 through 23 in Coronado, Calif. The new Full Program Multimedia Disks contain video footage and audio covering the event in its entirety as well as instantly printable supplemental literature, and informative mini-biographies of program presenters.

"We are excited to be offering this format to extend the reach of our programs and to offer a virtual viewing of this terrific program" said Juliann Cecchi, Director of Professional Education at Northwestern University School of Law. “We feel this is a groundbreaking product. At most, with other products in the market, only audio and video are available in a CD-ROM, video cassette or DVD format. We have raised the bar of what is expected from legal education tools with today’s technology."

The Securities Regulation Institute, which meets annually to highlight recent laws and developments in the field of securities, is the first event to be featured in the Full Program Multimedia Disk line. Each program session is designed to educate and provide practical skills to both corporate lawyers and corporate counsel. Sessions are led by Senior SEC officials and leading securities practitioners.

The Full Program Multimedia Disks are available 4 to 6 weeks after the event has taken place. The introductory price is $500. The 31st Annual Securities Regulation Institute Multimedia Disks are now available for purchase.

To order Full Program Multimedia Disks or for more information, please visit Northwestern University School of Law’s Professional Education program or send an e-mail to SRI@law.northwestern.edu.

Northwestern University School of Law continues its efforts to build upon the strength of its nationally prominent continuing legal education program by aggressively addressing evolving concerns of today’s legal and business worlds.
