TYRONE C. FAHNER '71 NAMED CHICAGO LAWYER MAGAZINE'S 2002 PERSON OF THE YEAR
In February 2002, Ty Fahner, a 1971 Northwestern Law LLM graduate, led the Chicago-based firm, Mayer, Brown &
Platt, in a merger with London's Rowe & Maw to form Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, the world's 10th largest law

CANDACE SMITH '02 CROWNED MISS OHIO 2003
On November 23, 2002, Candace Smith, a 2002 graduate of Northwestern Law, was crowned Miss Ohio 2003. After graduating
from the Law School, Candace moved back to the Cincinnati area and joined the law firm Thompson Hine, LLP. To learn
